Jonas Galvez is a software engineer and published author in the field of web development. He provides services architecting, developing and maintaining scalable solutions for large web applications using a variety of open source tools and technologies, including JavaScript, Python and Ruby on Rails.

He is currently a partner at côdeazur brasil developing and managing projects for a number of clients. He is also devoted to researching distributed computing technology, playing with Lua and releasing several pieces of open source libraries. Jonas lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil with his lovely girlfriend Aline. He's 23 years old, a self-educated craftsman since 14, a non-conservative libertarian, and generally a very inquisitive and annoying mind. He believes in Empirical Truth, but finds George Carlin's truth just as valid. He has a passion for studying mathematics, gets high by listening to Boards of Canada and drives around aimlessly for pleasure.
